Glider AUV
The Skandi Explorer Gliders are ultra-efficient, low-power autonomous underwater vehicles which collect ocean environmental data for months at a time without need of a support vessel. Total operational control is accomplished remotely by on-shore staff using piloting and data processing proprietary software. Glider observations measure strong ocean currents, collect environmental baselines, and detect oil in water.
